Servicing

All scuba equipment should be serviced on a regular basis, all servicing at Dive Central is carried out by ASSET, IDEST and SITA approved service technicians using manufacturers approved service kits and parts.
Dive Central can service and repair most items of scuba equipment. From annual regulator servicing to hydrostatic and visual cylinder testing, our servicing department will ensure that your equipment continues to deliver the performance and reliability that you'd expect.
Our fully-trained service technicians carry out all servicing and repair work and all work is strictly quality controled.
We also offer a repair service for most items of equipment plus neck and wrist seal replacement/leak repairs for drysuits.
All cylinder and valve testing and inspection is carried out to manufacturers specification and requirements and  EN1802, EN1968 or BS5430 pt6 as applicable and all in accordence with the ASSET code of practice part 2.
We average a one week turn around on cylinder servicing and this includes oxygen cleaning if required.
All cylinders that are filled commercially are required to be tested this includes diving every two and a half years and surface use cylinders every five years.
Here at Dive Central we carry out both hydrostatic and visual testing as required.
