PADI Open Water Diver
The Open Water Diver course is the world’s most popular scuba course, and has introduced millions of people to the adventurous diving lifestyle.
What You Learn
The Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:
· Knowledge Development which is mainly a home study course followed by a classroom session to ensure you understand basic principles of scuba diving.
· Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills within the safety of a pool enviorement prior to venturing into open water.
· Open Water Dives to review your skills previously mastered in the confined water sessions and also to explore!
If you’ve tried diving through a Discover Scuba Diving experience here at Dive Central the skills you learned may be credited towards a portion of the full PADI Open Water Diver course certification. For this we will credit of the cost of your open water course the cost of your discover scuba diving session.
Prerequisites.
To enroll in the PADI Open Diver course or Junior Open Water Diver course, you must
· Be 10 years or older
The Fun Part
The fun part about this course is . . . well, just about all of it because learning to dive is incredible. You breathe underwater for the first time (something you’ll never forget) and learn what you need to know to become a certified diver. During the course, you’ll make at least five pool dives and four dives at local dive sites under the supervision of your PADI Instructor.
The fun part? Well here at Dive Central we make it all fun!
What Next?
Well you simply come ito Dive Central and book onto the next available course, your course will run over three days usually a Saturday, Sunday and Monday and after completing all the skills well you’re a DIVER!
Cost
The cost of your open water diving experience will be £350.
