Dive Here at Dive Central we have been working successfully with Cub Scout groups for the past two years offering them the opportunity to gain their Cub Scout water skills badge by taking part in a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience; this with out a doubt gives the child more confidence in and around water.

The course involves the Cub Scouts learning the basics of SCUBA with a brief classroom, video and interactive session that we are happy to come to your scout hall and undertake.
We try to make this as interesting as possible by bringing along a slide show and some basic equipment for a hands on interactive learning session.This will allow the Cub Scouts to take the next step which is the confined water session where they will all get the opportunity to wear SCUBA and take part in some fun and games under the water.
We will also get them to undertake some basic underwater skills allowing them to achieve their Cub Scout water skills badge at the discretion of their Leader.
Dive Central is a PADI 5 star Instructor Development centre and has been recognised as a centre of excellence and is one the top 20 PADI centres in the UK.We set very high standards in health and safety and employ outside consultants to continuously monitor our progress, we also run a weekly kids SCUBA club so all our instructors are
not only fully trained to work with children but are used to ensuring the kids have a fun filled time: we regularly run children’s birthday parties and special events and have our own inflatable activity centre for the pool and several dive propulsion vehicles enabling children to have hours of fun.
